Viewed By The TNI Commander And National Police Chief, Mass Vaccination At JIEXPO Runs Orderly And Smoothly
JAKARTA – The COVID-19 vaccination event which took place at JIEXPO, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Sunday 4 July, was successful and smooth. This event was directly reviewed by the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and the National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
During his visit at 10.00 WIB, Hadi Tjahjanto saw firsthand tens of thousands of people queuing in an orderly manner to take part in the vaccination process. This event was held thanks to the cooperation of the TNI, Polri, and WALUBI (Representative of Indonesian Buddhists).
A total of 159 vaccinator officers were involved in this vaccination activity. From the TNI there were 30 vaccinators, then 20 from the Police, and 109 vaccinators from Walubi. It makes the queue of thousands of people can take place more quickly. The target for vaccination is the general public as many as 10,000 people per day.
The vaccination participants were seen queuing in a fairly long queue, up to about 800 meters from hall D to the vaccine booth in hall C1. However, the officers always lead the queue to run in an orderly manner and always maintain a distance.
"So far, 39,174 people have been vaccinated. Meanwhile, the stock of vaccine prepared for today's activity is 10,000 doses of the Sinovac type," said Sigit in his statement.
Furthermore, the second visit was conducted at the Al-Hamid Islamic Boarding School, Cilangkap, East Jakarta. The activity, which was initiated by the TNI-Polri, has been held since June 5, 2021, with a target of vaccinating 15,000 people from the general public around
"So far, 7,963 people have been vaccinated. Meanwhile, today we have prepared a stock of 1,000 doses of Sinovac," said Sigit.
The vaccinator officers involved in this activity were 25 vaccinators consisting of 5 vaccinators from the National Police, and 20 vaccinators from the TNI.
