AirAsia Temporarily Stops All Scheduled Flights

JAKARTA - PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk has temporarily suspended its scheduled flight services. The temporary suspension is in line with the implementation of the implementation of emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) in Java and Bali on 3-20 July.

On the official AirAsia Indonesia website, Saturday, July 3, it was stated that AirAsia Indonesia flights (flight code QZ) which were terminated were valid for all scheduled flights on domestic and international routes.

The closure of AirAsia Indonesia flight operations will take effect from 6 July 2021 to 6 August 2021.

However, AirAsia remains committed to serving charter and cargo flights to support repatriation missions, freight forwarding, and other essential interests by implementing strict health and safety protocols.

"Guests who wish to change their flight during this period can change their purchase into a credit account which is valid for up to 730 days (two years) for the next ticket purchase or can change the flight schedule to another date until October 31, 2021, can be done unlimited and without additional costs "Guests can also choose to apply for a refund. These changes and submissions can be made via AVA on airasia.com or support.airasia.com," wrote AirAsia Indonesia.

AirAsia emphasized that it always prioritizes the safety and security of every passenger and all of its employees.
