Departure Of Daop 1 Train Which Was Stopped During Emergency PPKM

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta has canceled several trains (KA) departing from Gambir and Pasar Senen Stations starting July 3, 2021. This step is to support the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through the Java-Bali Emergency PPKM.

Head of Public Relations Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said that on the first day of the implementation of this Emergency PPKM, only 11 trains departed from Gambir Station and 11 trains departed from Pasar Senen Station. This is aimed at optimizing restrictions on community activities.

"If you have to leave the house or travel for important things only and according to the requirements that have been set," he said in an official statement, Saturday, July 3.

"PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta apologizes to passengers whose trips were canceled during the Emergency PPKM period. This step is taken to fully support the handling of Covid-19 which is being carried out by the government," he said.

Eva appealed to prospective long-distance train passengers who already have the ticket, they can carry out the ticket cancellation process at all online ticket sales stations or Contact Center 121 services.

"The ticket fee will be fully refunded or 100 percent excluding the message fee. The ticket cancellation process can be carried out up to a maximum of 30 days after the train departure schedule (H+30 from the date stated on the ticket)," he said.
