Garut Police Prepare Three Insulation Rings During Emergency PPKM
GARUT - The Garut Resort Police, West Java, prepared three isolation rings during the implementation of the emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) until July 20 to prevent and break the chain of transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak.
"There will be partitions in three rings, there will be ring three, ring two and ring one," said Garut Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 2.
The blocking point is ring one on Jalan Baru Kadungora, which borders Bandung Regency and Cilawu Regency, which borders Tasikmalaya Regency.
Next, ring two in the Cipanas Garut tourist attraction, insulation in Darajat, Pasirwangi District, and insulation in the local district government.
Ring three security at eight isolation points, namely the Holy Roundabout, Leuwi Daun, Guntur, Simpang Lima, then the intersection of the Asia Supermarket area, BNI, the intersection of Jalan Papandayan, and Maktal.
"Locations of other public places or community centers where crowds are possible will also be isolated," said AKBP Wirdhanto.
The Police Chief said that his staff would first conduct socialization related to the application of the partition to the community in a humanistic, informative and educative manner.
AKBP Wirdhanto appealed to all elements of society as well as business actors and tourism activities to temporarily limit their activities due to the COVID-19 emergency.
"Similarly, community activities must be temporarily postponed until July 20, 2021," he said.
Meanwhile, Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan stated that the implementation of emergency PPKM in his area refers to directives from the central government and the West Java Provincial Leadership Coordination Forum in order to suppress and break the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak.
"This way of acting is one door, this is a movement and however restricting it is one door under the control of the Chief of Police who will carry out the steps later with the help of the Dandim and Pak Kajari," he said.
