BADUNG - The incident of discarded babies has happened again in Bali. The baby boy was found by residents in Dalung Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali in a rice field ditch.
"(Receiving) reports from the public that the baby is male," said Head of the Badung Police Public Relations Division, Iptu Ketut Oka Bawa, Friday, July 2.
The discovery of the baby is located on Jalan Mudu Taki, Dalung Village, North Kuta. The witness was cleaning in front of his workplace at that time.
The witness heard the baby's cry and looked in the direction of the sound. It turned out that there was a baby wrapped in a blue blanket above the rice field ditch.
"The witness approached, it turned out that the blue blanket wrapped in a baby boy still had the umbilical cord," he added.
This baby is still alive. The witness immediately contacted pecalang who then came to the location where the baby was found.
"Furthermore, the witness immediately took the baby to the Kerobokan Health Center for medical treatment," said Iptu Oka.
