Duo Big Red Machine Teams Up With Taylor Swift For Regenade

JAKARTA - The Big Red Machine duo consisting of Justin Vernon 'Bon Iver' and Aaron Dessner 'The National' invite Taylor Swift in the latest song titled Renegade. Released on Thursday, July 1, this song will be Big Red Machine's first collaboration song in their entire career.

Swift's voice dominates from the beginning of the song playing until Vernon's voice becomes backup vocals. Aaron Dessner was also in charge of the production of the song.

Renegade is confirmed to be included in Big Red Machine's new album titled How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last? which will be released on August 27th.

Swift, Vernon, and Dessner have been spotted together for the past few years. Vernon and Dessner are the two producers who worked on Taylor Swift's Folklore and Evermore albums.

“When we made 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' last year, Taylor and I talked about experimenting and writing songs together for the Big Red Machine one day,” Dessner told NME today, July 2.

Renegade was created after they completed the production of Evermore. According to Dessner, the words Taylor Swift wrote were stuck in her head all the time so they translated through this song.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift will re-release the album Red (Taylor's Version) on November 19. The song Renegade by Big Red Machine and Taylor Swift can be listened to digitally.
