"Jarot" Jokowi's Sacrificial Cow In Jambi Weighs 885 Kilograms
JAMBI - President Joko Widodo's sacrificial cow in Jambi Province was given the name "Jarot" weighing up to 885 kilograms.
"During the health check, the cows have been weighed and weighed 885 kilograms," said the provider of the presidential sacrificial cattle, Indra Suardi in Jambi, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 1.
President Jokowi's sacrificial cow in Jambi is a type of cemental cow. The cows were imported by Indra from Tulang Bawang, Lampung.
The President's sacrificial cow in Jambi has passed a health examination conducted by the High Evidence Animal Disease Investigation Center (BPPH). Blood samples and cow faeces were taken by BPPH officers to be examined in the laboratory, and the results were that the cows were in good health.
Indra explained that the President's sacrificial cow received special treatment and care. Once a week the cows are fed chicken eggs and honey. And given to drink special milk for livestock.
"Mr. President has ordered sacrificial cows from us seven times, this year is the seventh year," said Indra.
The implementation of President Jokowi's sacrifice in Jambi Province is carried out in turns at mosques in Jambi Province. In 2021, President Jokowi's sacrifice will be held at the Al Munawarrah Aurduri Grand Mosque, Jambi City.
In 2020, President Jokowi's sacrifice was carried out in Mendalo, Muaro Jambi Regency.
"The presidential staff has contacted us to confirm the implementation of the President's sacrifice in Jambi Province in 2021, and the mosque in Aurduri has been chosen," said Jambi Provincial Government Karo Rahmad Hidayat.
