Give Your Highest Respect To The Medical Team Who Continue To Serve During Eid
JAKARTA - We may complain about having to celebrate Eid in the concept of 'A New Normal'. Cannot go home to chatting with family. If we just complain, what about the medical personnel.
In the midst of this COVID-19, the role of medical personnel is very vital. By many people, the medical team is seen as the front line. For some, they are the last line of defense because the ones who are at the forefront of fighting COVID-19 are actually ourselves.
Let alone during Eid, long before that the life of the medical personnel had completely changed. Once they come face to face with a positive patient with COVID-19, the potential for infection will increase. Medical personnel, will not be able to return home for fear of actually carrying the virus.
Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto also expressed his respect for medical personnel who are still fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic in the middle of the Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijri celebration. He continues to provide support to all medical personnel who must harbor a longing for being with their family because of this noble task.
"On this occasion, I would like to share my joy, my respect for those who are struggling at the forefront of handling COVID-19," Prabowo Subianto said on his Facebook account, Sunday, May 24.
"Keep on being excited, we all always pray for and support you. May Allah SWT be happy with your struggle,"

COVID-19 has indeed changed the world. There is no longer a lively Lebaran in villages or cities. The habit of pilgrimage and visiting other families has disappeared.
"The pandemic that we are now facing, makes us unable to celebrate Eid like we usually do," continued Prabowo.
But Prabowo hopes that this pandemic does not reduce the meaning of victory in Eid. He hopes that joy will continue.
"Fasting is like a candradimuka crater. We hope that after a period of training for one month, strong, clean-hearted individuals will be formed, who are able to make a real contribution to our beloved Great Indonesia," he concluded.
