Puan Maharani Congratulates Kadin National Conference: Entrepreneurs Must Help Accelerate Vaccination

JAKARTA - Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, has encouraged the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) to continue to contribute to the recovery of the national economy. Puan encouraged Kadin to formulate a program for handling the COVID-19 pandemic and its recovery to provide solutions for economic progress.

"Congratulations on holding the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Kadin must be part of the solution for Indonesia's economic progress," said DPR RI Speaker Puan Maharani in congratulating the VIII Kadin National Conference, as stated in a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, June 30.

Puan Maharani hopes that Kadin will continue to be present as part of the solution, especially the recovery of the national economy affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kadin, said Puan, must continue to innovate and have an unyielding attitude so that it becomes part of a major force that drives national economic recovery.

"I hope Kadin can continue to be the government's partner in the recovery of the national economy, especially MSMEs," said the first woman who became Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

In addition to economic recovery, Puan also encouraged Kadin to play an active role in helping to accelerate the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. Kadin's active role in the success of accelerating COVID-19 vaccination will have a positive impact on accelerating the revival of the national economy.

"Kadin administrators and entrepreneurs who are members of Kadin must help accelerate vaccination so that communal immunity can be achieved immediately, accelerate control and handling of the pandemic, and will restore the Indonesian economy," said DPR RI Speaker Puan Maharani.
