Wrongly Calling Prabowo Consuming Ivermectin, Harsen Laboratories Apologizes
JAKARTA - PT Harsen Laboratories clarified as well as stated that Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto did not consume Ivermectin.
Harsen's side admitted that he had mistaken Prabowo's name, even though he meant his younger brother, Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
For this mistake, the Vice President of PT Harsen Laboratories, Sofia Koswara, apologized so that there would be no misunderstanding in the community.
"Supposedly, the one who was given the Ivermectin drug was his younger brother, Mr. Hashim Djojohadikusumo," said Sofia, who is the Chairwoman of the Indonesian FLCCC (Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care), through her statement, Tuesday, June 29.
"Once again we apologize and thank you for your concern."
It is known, in a webinar about Ivermectin, Sofia Koswara incorrectly said that Defense Minister Prabowo had been taking Ivermectin since 4 months ago. Even though what Sofia meant was Prabowo's younger brother, Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
Previously, the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, had denied that Prabowo was taking Ivermectin.
"It is not true that Pak Prabowo has taken Ivermectin," Dasco told reporters, Monday, June 28.
According to him, Prabowo had never consumed the drug.
"I asked him directly and he denied that he had taken the drug. Pak Prabowo had never taken the drug," said Dasco.
