Moderate Religion Becomes One Of Golkar's Political Attitudes
JAKARTA - The X Golkar Party's national meeting (munas) resulted in a number of agreements related to Golkar's political stance. Golkar National Conference X Steering Committee member Ace Hasan Syadzily said, one of them was about religious tolerance.
Golkar encourages the realization of a religious life that is moderate, tolerant and respects differences. This banyan party does not give room to any party who wants to take radical actions that can injure human values and damage the life of the nation.
"Golkar is committed to collaborating with religious organizations to provide guidance for the realization of a life of moderation in religion," said Ace at the X Golkar National Conference, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, Thursday, December 5.
Ace said that his party also wanted the presidential and legislative elections to be separated. Golkar is of the view that the democratic process has gone well or is on the track. However, it needs to be refined.
"For this reason, democracy in Indonesia must continue to be pushed towards strengthening the presidential system, strengthening the participation of the people's political rights through the separation of the presidential and legislative elections. As well as the need for an in-depth study of the 1945 Constitution," he said.
Then, Ace said, as a defender and practitioner of Pancasila, the Golkar Party has always consistently implemented the Pancasila ideology in the life of society, nation and state. Golkar also invites all components of the nation to reinforce, practice and socialize Pancasila from an early age.
"As well as fighting for the birth of the Pancasila Ideology Development Act," he said.
Furthermore, Golkar supports the policy of debureaucratization so that governance is effective and responsive in providing quality and integrity public services. Golkar hopes that there will be a continuation of bureaucratic reform through structuring and increasing the competence of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) with the principle of having rich functions and poor structures.
"Golkar supports the plan to move the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia to East Kalimantan by accelerating the issuance of the Law on the State Capital," he explained.
Not only that, Golkar also encourages Indonesia to play a role in foreign policy freely and actively in the international geopolitical arena that mutually benefits the Indonesian economy.
Golkar also encourages a conducive economic climate by exploiting the potential for domestic investment and direct foreign investment that can drive the national economic sector and is export-oriented. For example, in the manufacturing sector, the metered industry, plantations, agriculture, fisheries, mining and oil and gas.
This investment is deemed necessary to prioritize local resources and raw materials for domestic production. In addition, Golkar asks that economic policy must consistently pay attention to the concept of a green and low carbon economy.
Ace said that Golkar will continue to fight for the ideals of social justice. For example, through poverty alleviation, inequality, unemployment, elimination of stunting, health services, violence against women, drug eradication, and other social problems.
Golkar supports the policy of deregulation of legislation with the omnibus law scheme. This is for the sake of creating a conducive climate for the national economy.
"It will be the foundation for the welfare of the Indonesian people," he continued.
Finally, Golkar's stance also encourages firmer law enforcement by improving the performance of law enforcers. Including, eradicating corruption with indicators of law enforcement that respect human rights values, fulfill a sense of justice, prioritize prevention, law violations, and an efficient and effective law enforcement system management.
