Snyder Cut's Justice League Urges For Ayer Cut's Suicide Squad

JAKARTA - The news that the Snyder Cut version of Justice League will be released has triggered fans to ask for the presence of the Ayer Cut version of the Suicide Squad.

The version in question refers to director David Ayer's original vision for the 2016 release. Ayer Cut is said to be very different from the last version that was shown in theaters.

The new push for an alternative DC version to be released comes after Justice League's Snyder Cut confirms a release next year. This was confirmed after a number of petitions and fan pressure.

Following the news, Ayer shared a tweet on Twitter which read: “An early version of Mr. J (which seems to be aimed at the character Joker), ”along with a series of unfamiliar writings.

He topped the tweet with a gif of Suicide Squad's Joker (Jared Leto), with the caption blinking: "I AM DIFFERENT WITH YOUR OPINIONS."

Petitions regarding Ayer Cut have been raised by fans in the past. However, the hashtag ReleaseTheAyerCut has now revived following the news of Snyder Cut and Ayer's tweets.

"Let's make this real," one chirp reads. Another fan account added: "One over, just one more."

"Now that Snyder Cut will be released next year, I'm sure Ayer Cut will air this year on HBO MAX," another fan theorized.

"Ayer Cut, I said it is much more complete, does not need to do a lot of completion."

Meanwhile, a new Suicide Squad film, titled The Suicide Squad, will arrive in 2021.
