Take Note! These Are People Who Can Ride KRL On Hari Raya
JAKARTA - The operation of the KRL Commuter Line on Eid Al-Fitr on Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25 will be limited. On the first and second days of Eid, KRL is only intended for workers who are allowed to operate during the Jabodetabek PSBB period.
Thus, people planning to stay in touch or halalbihalal at the house of their relatives or relatives are asked to give up their intention. This is because the government has prohibited citizens from gathering during the PSBB period.
"The operational time limitation aims to serve people who specifically carry out activities using KRL in sectors that are excluded during the implementation of the PSBB," said VP Corporate Communications Anne Purba to reporters, Friday, May 22.
During the limitation of operational time on Eid Al-Fitr, KRL serves trips with operating hours from 05.00-08.00 WIB in the morning. Then, operations are resumed at 16.00-18.00 WIB in the afternoon throughout the route.
"At times outside of operating hours, the station will be closed," said Anne.
For passengers who are allowed to board the KRL, Anne asked to continue implementing health protocols such as wearing masks and applying physical distancing while at the station or inside the KRL.
In addition, PT KCI will also check passengers' body temperature when boarding KRL, and limit the number of passengers to 60 people per train.
Then on May 26 2020 the KRL Commuter Line will resume operating according to schedule during the PSBB period with an operational time of 05.00-18.00 WIB.
PT KCI appealed to KRL Commuter Line users to support government programs by not going home, not having picnics, and conducting online gatherings for the sake of common health.
"This joint effort is a form of protecting families and preventing the transmission of Covid-19 by staying at home," concluded Anne.
