Other than that, North Sulawesi cuisine that can be enjoyed includes tinutuan porridge which is filling because it contains various vegetables such as spinach, kale, basil, sweet potatoes, pumpkin to shelled corn. There is also a goroho banana which is similar to banana chips and dipped with chili sauce, which can be eaten with a cup of coffee or tea.

Tourists visiting Likupang can also enjoy a pastel-like snack called panada, consisting of fried bread stuffed with shredded skipjack tuna.

With a distance of two hours by car from Manado, there are many exotic beaches to choose from in Likupang, namely Pulisan Beach and Hills, Paal Beach, Lihaga Beach, to Gangga Island.

During his visit to Likupang in March 2021, Sandiaga had time to try out Aquathlon (swimming and running) as part of the trial run for the Indonesia Triathlon Series. He swam in the sea for 1,054 meters, then ran for five kilometers. From the results of the trial, he assessed that Likupang was ready to host sports-based tourism activities.

Sandiaga Uno assesses that the Likupang area is also suitable for later development as a location for Meeting, Incentive, Exhibition and Event (MICE) activities.
