Viral Satpol PP And WH Banda Aceh Are Cursed By Salon Workers During Patrol, Police Intervene

BANDA ACEH - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Banda Aceh Police is investigating a case of alleged insults or insults by salon workers against Satpol PP and Wilayatul Hisbah (WH) officers in Banda Aceh.

"Currently, the investigation is still ongoing by asking for statements from witnesses who were at the TKP (the crime scene)," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police AKP M Ryan Citra Yudha in Banda Aceh as reported by Antara, Saturday, June 26.

Previously, Satpol PP and WH Banda Aceh officers received insults from a group of beauty salon workers when they held routine patrols in the local area.

"Our officers are on routine patrols, they were told to close (the salon), but instead we are cursing at them," said Head of Banda Aceh Satpol PP and WH Heru Triwijanarko.

The salon workers are often reminded to close salon activities at night in accordance with the time limit set by the government.

Getting humiliated, the Banda Aceh Satpol PP and WH made a police report to the Banda Aceh Police because they felt harassed or as a follow-up to the incident.

The video of swearing at Satpol PP and WH officers by the beauty salon workers has been widely spread on Instagram social media.

AKP M Ryan said that while his party had asked for an explanation from the reporting party and the process of summoning several other witnesses had been sent a letter to provide information.

"Next Monday, we have sent several witnesses requesting to provide information regarding the incident," he said.

Ryan added, judging from the reports made, they felt that the incident was an insult or had defamed.

"Judging from the report made by the complainant, it refers to the article on defamation / insult," said AKP Ryan.
