During the visit, he received a report from the local RW management that the micro-restrictions had gone well.
Even so, he doesn't want this to only work in certain areas but must be done optimally in all areas. Thus, he ordered regional heads in the country to maximize the implementation of Micro PPKM.
"I ask, I really ask that governors, regents, mayors throughout the country from Sabang to Merauke, assisted by Pangdam, Kapolda, Danrem, Dandim, and Kapolres can mobilize Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas to assist local governments, assist sub-districts, and assist RWs in implementing PPKM. Micro," said the former governor of DKI Jakarta.
This kind of assistance, said Jokowi, is needed to oversee the implementation of the Micro PPKM policy.
"What is needed now is field action. Field supervision, field control is running or not. Because it is useless for us to make a policy but it doesn't work," he said
Furthermore, Jokowi had time to talk with a number of residents and RW administrators. One of the RW administrators had stated that the most COVID-19 cases were from family clusters.
"Most of the cases here are family clusters, sir. Because right now we can't even avoid our activities going out. So most of our residents who were exposed were carried away from where they were active," said the resident.
