Czech Team Practice Shooting Ahead Of Euro 2020 Round Of 16

JAKARTA - Despite failing to score in their last Euro 2020 group match against England, Wednesday, 23 June, the Czech Republic national team are still enjoying their free time with leisure activities ahead of the last 16 clashes.

On Thursday, June 24, all members of the Czech national team reportedly did shooting practice.

The Czechs, who are scheduled to face the Netherlands in the round of 16 in Budapest on Sunday, June 27, were engrossed in spending time on the shooting range while trying various firearms.

"We just wanted to change the atmosphere for a few hours because the team has been playing together for four weeks," Czech National Team general manager Libor Sionko said in a statement.

"Today we spent time at the shooting range and they have tried all sorts of firearms," Sionko wrote.

However, he ensured that all team members continued to comply with all UEFA health rules and protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic while carrying out these activities.

However, he did not give details about the shooting talent of his team, including Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick, who has scored three goals for the Czechs during the Group D stage of Euro 2020.
