"It is true, three members of the National Police with the initials I, H, and R were arrested by the Manokwari Narcotics Sat Opsnal team assisted by West Papua Police Propam Sector personnel, in one of the boarding rooms on Jalan Trikora Maripi," said Head of Public Relations Kombes Kombes Adam Erwindi as reported by Antara, Thursday , June 24.
He said the three members of the National Police had been secured in the detention room of members of the Manokwari Police for further investigation and legal proceedings.
Adam Erwindi admitted that the involvement of the three members of the National Police was the special attention of the West Papua Police Chief Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing in an effort to clean up the involvement of Polri members with these illicit goods.
