JAKARTA - The chairman of the House of Representatives from the PDIP faction appears on a billboard with the tagline "Great Indonesia!". The billboards have been spread in several areas.
Reporting from era.id, Thursday, June 24, information circulated that all PDIP legislators were instructed by the chairman of the PDIP faction in the DPR, Utut Adiando, to install Puan's billboards in their respective constituencies. Later this was denied by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP, Ahmad Basarah.

On social media, Puan's billboard was ridiculed for using a quote from Indonesian President Soekarno, which reads, "Whoever wants pearls, must dare to plunge into the deep ocean."

Despite the harvest of blasphemy from netizens, political observer and researcher at the Surabaya Survey Center (SSC) Surokim Abdussalam assesses that the appearance of Puan's billboards will have a positive effect in 2024.
