Anies' Signs To Become A Presidential Candidate In 2024, The Chairman Of The DKI DPRD: It's OK, But It's OK To Clean Up Jakarta
JAKARTA - The chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, uttered a rhyme about the ideals of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan when he was still carrying out the task of leading Jakarta.
Prasetio admitted that the rhyme was a satire against Anies, who had begun to show that he wanted to launch his strategy as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
"His dream is that he wants to be a presidential candidate in 2024. Yes, I can say that. But we need to sort things out in Jakarta first. That's what I slightly offended the Governor (Anies)," said Prasetio when met at the DKI DPRD Building, Monday. , June 22.
Prasetio gave an example of Anies' attitude, which was seen as political lobbying ahead of the presidential election, namely when he attended the harvest festival in Sumedang and held a meeting with the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil some time ago.
"If the directions have been seen, in this COVID-19 pandemic situation he traveled outside Jakarta. Yesterday he ate with Ridwan Kamil at IPDN. In fact, Jakarta is now concerned about COVID-19," said Prasetio.
From the poem, Prasetio admitted that he just wanted to remind Anies that Jakarta is currently experiencing a fairly high spike in COVID-19 cases. In addition, new variants of COVID-19 have emerged that are more quickly transmitted.
"So, I made the rhyme to remind the Governor to concentrate on Jakarta's problems with the second variant of the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
Previously, the DKI Provincial Government and DPRD DKI held a plenary meeting in commemoration of the 494th anniversary of the City of Jakarta. The meeting was held at the DKI DPRD Building.
Chairman of the DKI DPRD Prasetio Edi Marsudi gave a speech. After giving his speech, Prasetio pinned a rhyme for DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan specifically on the commemoration of the DKI Jakarta Anniversary.
"I have a rhyme for the Governor," said Prasetio before closing his remarks at the plenary meeting at the DKI DPRD Building.
"Buy steel at Carita Beach, rehabilitate houses. It's okay to have dreams, but first solve problems in Jakarta," he continued.
Prasetio's rhyme was greeted with applause. A number of DPRD members who were present at the meeting also greeted them with laughter that could be heard in the room.
