Minister Tito Issues Inmendagri Tightening Micro PPKM Until July 5: Eating, Drinking In Malls Until 20.00
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian issued the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 14 of 2021 concerning the Extension of the Implementation of Micro-based Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
This Inmendagri also contains the enforcement of a number of community activities.
"Following on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia who instructed that the policy for the implementation of micro-based community activity restrictions (PPKM) be extended and further optimize the command posts (Posko) for handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) at the village and sub-district levels," the Ministry of Home Affairs said as quoted from Antara, Tuesday, June 22.
The extension of the micro PPKM is valid from June 22 to July 5, 2021. Some tightening is applied to Inmendagri 14 of 2021 and is different from Inmendagri 13 of 2021.
Regulation of the application of restrictions on restaurant activities (eating/drinking on the spot) of 50 percent of capacity. Meanwhile, food services via delivery/take-away are still permitted according to restaurant operating hours with strict health protocols being implemented.
Restrictions on operating hours for shopping centers/malls are limited to 21.00 local time with the implementation of stricter health protocols, accompanied by a 50 percent limit on visitor capacity.
Meanwhile, in the Minister of Home Affairs 14 of 2021, there are different arrangements for the implementation of eating/drinking activities in public places (food stalls, restaurants, cafes, street vendors, hawker stalls) in separate locations and shopping centers/malls.
For, eating and drinking activities in places where the capacity is set at 25 percent of the normal capacity. Then, operating hours are limited to 20.00 local time.
Implementation of activities in shopping centers, malls, trade centers, operating hours are limited to 20.00 local time, and limiting visitor capacity by 25 percent with the implementation of more stringent health protocols.
Meanwhile, the rules regarding working from home are still the same as the previous instructions. Regions with red zones are asked to implement work from home (WFH) or work from home by 75 percent which is regulated in turns, and WFO by 25 percent. For areas other than the red zone, restrictions are carried out by applying 50 percent WFH and 50 percent WFO or working in an office.
