Welcome To My Paradise Tepeng, Ini Profil Vokalis Steven And Coconut Treez

JAKARTA - Steven N. Kaligis alias Tpeng, vocalist of the band Steven and Coconut Treez passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 07.30 WIB. The manager of the reggae band, Putra, explained the cause of Tepeng's death when contacted by the media.

"Yes, it's true that Steven died at 7.30 WIB. Due to COVID-19, he was treated at the Medika Hospital," he said.

To provide further explanation, Andi promised to hold a virtual press conference. "Later, we will live Instagram for a press conference, we will take care of the hospital first," he explained.

Steven is the founder and vocalist of the band Steven and Coconut Treez, which was formed in 2005. This band has consistently worked in the reggae music line. The song Welcome To My Paradise became the band's eternal song which was released in 2005 and is still frequently performed today.

Steven was born on January 3, 1975 in Pekan Baru. Steven formed a reggae band together with A Ray Daulay (guitar), Teguh Wicaksono (guitar), Rival Himran (bass), Iwan (keyboards), "Opa" Tedy Wardhana (percussion) and Aci (drums).

Steven and Coconut Treez had their debut album The Other Side (2005) with the hit song Welcome To My Paradise. The band decided to go on hiatus in 2009. Tepeng then made a solo project called Steven Jam.

Steven & Coconuts Treez is back to being active in music starting at the end of 2019 after a 10-year hiatus. Their return was marked by the release of a single titled Fallin. Now that Tepeng is gone, Steve and Coconut Treez have lost their vocalist.
