JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta District Court (PN) has temporarily suspended activities for three days after nine employees tested positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.

"We have been instructed to break the chain of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, starting from Tuesday, June 22, 2021 to Thursday, June 24, 2021, the Central Jakarta District Court Office has temporarily suspended its operational activities (trials)," said Central Jakarta District Court Public Relations Bambang Nurcahyono in Jakarta , reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 22.

According to Bambang, employees at the Central Jakarta District Court on Monday, June 21 carried out an antigen swab and the results were 18 reactive people and 9 positive people based on the PCR test.

"Thus, there are 27 people consisting of judges, substitute clerks, bailiffs and employees of the Central Jakarta District Court," said Bambang.

The chairman of the Central Jakarta District Court has also reported the matter to the chairman of the DKI Jakarta High Court.

"However, urgent matters are still served but are limited in nature," added Bambang.

The Central Jakarta District Court will reactivate on June 25, 2021. "During the temporary suspension of activities, disinfectants are sprayed in all rooms of the Central Jakarta District Court Office and judges and Central Jakarta District Court employees who are exposed to COVID-19 are given sick leave to self-isolate. "added Bambang.

The Central Jakarta District Court is known to have temporarily suspended activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The temporary suspension of activities, for example, occurred on 7-9 October 2020 and 25 August - 1 September 2020.
