Spreading Fast, 9 Players At Euro 2020 Positive For COVID-19
JAKARTA - The spread of COVID-19 is still a scourge in sports competitions. Euro 2020 also could not stem the spread of the virus. There are 9 players from 7 countries competing in Euro 2020 who have tested positive for COVID-19.
Scotland's Billy Gilmour became the latest to test positive for COVID-19 on June 21 and will miss Scotland against Croatia in Tuesday night's final group stage match.

NETHERLANDS
Netherlands goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen tested positive on 28 May. The Netherlands finally removed the main goalkeeper from the squad because coach Frank de Boer did not want to risk waiting for when he could recover.
PORTUGAL
Defender Joao Cancelo tested positive on June 12. The Portugal defender was dropped from the Euro 2020 squad after testing positive and being replaced by Diogo Dalot.
RUSSIA
Midfielder Andrei Mostovoy tested positive on June 11. Russia replaced midfielder Andrei Mostovoy with defender Roman Yevgenyev after coronavirus tests showed unfavorable results.
SCOTLAND
Midfielder Billy Gilmour tested positive June 21. Billy Gilmour will miss today's final Group D match against Croatia after testing positive for COVID-19.
SLOVAKIA
Defender Denis Vavro tested positive June 17. Denis Vavro and a staff member tested positive ahead of the game against Sweden at Euro 2020.
SPANISH
Spain captain Sergio Busquets tested positive on June 6. Sergio Busquets tested positive eight days before Spain's first match at Euro 2020 so missed the match against Sweden did not return to the camp on June 18 after testing negative.
Apart from Sergio Busquests, Defender Diego Liorente also tested positive five days before the opener, but rejoined the squad a few days later after testing negative in two rounds of tests.
SWEDEN
