UN Publishes E-KTA, Yusril Ihza Mahendra: Simplify The Election Verification Process
JAKARTA - The Crescent Star Party (PBB) has launched an electronic membership card or e-KTA for its cadres. Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) Yusril Ihza Mahendra said this was done to facilitate the evaluation of party infrastructure and the verification process in the upcoming general elections (elections).
"So the e-KTA is to make it easier to evaluate party infrastructure and make it easier to verify in the next elections," said Yusril in his written statement, Monday, June 21.
The difference between the old KTA and e-KTA is the presence of a barcode as an identity with new technology in the digital era.
"I hope this e-KTA can control cadres throughout Indonesia. So the database storage must also be correct," said the expert on constitutional law.
Yusril expressed his gratitude to the East Java DPW PBB cadres who initiated this electronic membership card. He asked the IT team to properly back up the system so that it cannot be hacked or hijacked by other parties who want to bring down their party.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Crescent Star Party Afriansyah Noor said the presence of e-KTA is expected to make it easier for young people and prospective cadres to join. Because, those who want to join can simply visit the readybb.id site.
"This is a breakthrough for the Crescent Star Party, all digital eras, even having a KTA must be digital as well. Thank God, today, Monday, June 21, we launched e-KTA and the readybb.id website. God willing, the UN will triumph in the 2024 election," said Afriansyah, completing the statement. Yusril.
In addition to the website, registration to get the e-KTA can also be done through party administrators who are spread across the DPW and DPC. Afriansyah said that this electronic membership card was to replace the old KTA which did not have a barcode.
"After this launch, there will be training from the IT e-KTA team to DPW and DPC. God willing, it can be useful," he concluded.
