BANJARMASIN - The pair of cagub-cawagub South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Denny Indrayana-Difriadi Darjat officially filed a lawsuit on the results of the voting (PSU) of the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election to the Constitutional Court (MK). Denny Indrayana collaborated with a team of lawyers which also consisted of Bambang Widjojanto (BW) and Febri Diansyah.

Denny Indrayana collaborated with lawyers as the attorney for the applicant, namely Bambang Widjojanto, Luthfi Yazid, Heru Widodo, Tareq Muhammad Aziz Elven.

Previously, the South Kalimantan General Election Commission (KPU) determined that the incumbent South Kalimantan governor candidate H Sahbirin Noor (Uncle Birin) defeated Denny Indrayana in the re-voting results (PSU) for the South Kalimantan gubernatorial election.
The South Kalimantan KPU decided at an open plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the PSU at the provincial level at the G'sgn Hotel Banjarmasin, Thursday, June 17. Sahbirin Noor (Uncle Birin) who was paired with former Banjarmasin Mayor H Muhidin or abbreviated BirinMU won a total of 119,307 votes in PSU in seven sub-districts in three districts/cities.
Meanwhile, his rival, Denny Indrayana, who was paired with former Deputy Regent of Tanah Bumbu H Difriadi, abbreviated as H2D, won a total of 57,100 votes.
In accumulated votes at PSU on 9 June 2021 and voting on 9 December 2020, BirinMU received a total of 871,123 votes.
Meanwhile, H2D received a total of 831,178 votes. There is a difference of 39,945 votes from the total valid voters of 1,702,301 votes in 13 districts/cities.
