Indonesian Archery Contingent Secures Additional Tickets For Tokyo Olympics
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Men's Recurve Archery Team managed to secure additional tickets for the Tokyo Olympics after becoming the second winner of the Recurve Men's Team Qualification at the 2021 Hyunda Archery World Cup Championship in Paris.
This team consists of Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla, Arif Dwi Pangestu, and Alviyanto Bagas Prastyadi. The second place was won because they had to admit the advantage of the United States with a score of 3-5 in the Charléty Stadium final match.
The qualification, which was held on June 18-27, provided 3 tickets for the Tokyo Olympics in the men's team recurve event. The Indonesian Archery National Team managed to enter the top two by eliminating 38 other countries except the United States.
Victory in the semifinals has confirmed the ticket belongs to Indonesia.

“This is extraordinary. I am very happy because I was able to lead the Indonesian Men's Archery Team to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics," said Arif, a member of the Indonesian Men's Team Team.
In the grand sporting event in Tokyo later, Indonesia will compete with Japan, Australia, China, Taiwan, India, Kazakhstan, South Korea, France, England, the Netherlands and the United States.

Perpani," said General Chairperson of the Central KONI Marciano Norman, quoted from a written statement, Sunday, June 20.
“This proud achievement is a testament to the hard work of the Indonesian Archery Team. I am sure, with better preparation, Archery will be able to make Indonesia proud at the upcoming Olympics,” continued Marciano.
The head of the Central KONI also prayed that the women's team would follow the men's team in winning tickets for the Tokyo Olympics. Now Indonesia has three tickets for the Tokyo Olympics from archery, namely Riau Ega Agata (men's recurve), Diananda Choirunisa (men's recurve) and the Men's Team Recurve Team.
