Honor 'Confident' Can Outperform Apple In Global Market
JAKARTA - Honor has recently launched the Honor 50 series smartphone. On the same occasion, Honor CEO Zhao Ming said his company would be able to compete with Apple in the future.
Compiled from Gizmochina, Sunday, June 20, Ming also stated that Honor will soon make products that can rival or even surpass the Cupertino giant, United States (US).
Even Ming believes, his brand will receive a new breakthrough in the near future. On the one hand, Ming acknowledged that Apple is currently on the rise, especially after Huawei experienced a sharp decline in the industry due to being blacklisted in the era of former US President Donald Trump until now.
Furthermore, Ming realized that because Honor was a former subsidiary of Huawei, Honor needed to match or even surpass Apple products. In this case, it can be either product performance or user experience.
He also believes that competition is paramount in the high-end smartphone market, as it will help polish its product offerings and categories.
However, many flagship-class devices offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, the experience offered to customers varies greatly in the flagship market. In response, Ming believes that smartphones with superior specifications do not always offer a better user experience.
To prove Ming's statement, it is likely that the Honor 50 series will be the opening for the revival of the now independent brand in an effort to compete with US brands.
