There Is Always A Cell Phone Found During Raids In Prison, How Can It Keep Getting Away?

BANDARLAMPUNG - Officers from the Rajabasa Class I Correctional Institution (Lapas), Bandarlampung, found scissors and a cellphone while conducting a raid on the residential block B1 of the local inmates.

"We carried out an impromptu raid last night. We also raided the residential rooms of the inmates at random," said Head of Rajabasa Headquarters, Maizar in Bandarlampung, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 18.

He explained that apart from finding sharp weapons such as scissors and two cellphones, his party also found several prohibited items such as two electrical terminals, two nail clippers, and a box of nails.

"We also found five mobile phone chargers, two headsets, two cell phone batteries, one beard trimmer, one cell phone case, two power banks, and one electric fan," continued Maizar.

Maizar added that the raids were carried out in an impromptu manner in the context of early detection to prevent and minimize dangerous prohibited objects or items in the prison.

"For drugs we did not find. But we will still carry out raids again to eradicate prohibited objects including drugs," he said.

Officers of the Class I Rajabasa Correctional Institution (Lapas) in Bandarlampung also found a sharp knife type weapon when carrying out a raid on block A3 of the local inmates.
