JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asked the public to participate in supervising the implementation of health protocols (prokes). For Anies, overcoming the spread of COVID-19 is a universal struggle.
"With that, the supervision continues, together with this a universal struggle, everyone must be involved, take part and be responsible," Anies told reporters, Friday, June 18.
Community participation in surveillance, said Anies, can be done by reporting anyone who does not implement the health procedures. That way, all those who violate will be dealt with according to the applicable rules.
"We ask the whole community, if you see a violation, report it. Use the JAKI application, report it there so we can act," he said.
On the other hand, TNI-Polri personnel and the DKI Provincial Government will carry out surveillance with routine patrols. Patrols are intensified in public places such as restaurants and shopping centers.
"Our officers will ensure that processes such as the use of masks and the number of people in the facility comply with the provisions," Anies said.
"Therefore, to all, managers of places that gather a lot, such as shops, make sure the 50 percent capacity is not exceeded by a maximum of 50 percent," he continued.
DKI Jakarta recorded the addition of new cases of COVID-19 today. New cases of 4,737 are the most daily cases during the pandemic.
"24,812 PCR tests were carried out. Of these tests, 17,368 people were tested by PCR today to diagnose new cases with 4,737 positive results and 12,631 negative results," said Head of Disease Prevention and Control of the DKI Jakarta Health Office Dwi Oktavia in his statement, Friday. , June 18.
The number of active cases in Jakarta increased by 2,173 cases, so the number of active cases to date is 24,511 people who are still undergoing isolation or treatment.
