Police Arrest Brain Perpetrator Of Murder Of Elementary School Teacher In Toba North Sumatra Who Died With 24 Stabs
MEDAN - Toba Police have arrested the main perpetrator in the murder of a teacher at an elementary school (SD) in Toba Regency, North Sumatra, Lisbet Martalena Butarbutar (49). Lisbet was found dead with 24 stab wounds to her body.
The head of the Toba Police Public Relations Subdivision, Iptu B Samosir, said Friday that the perpetrator with the initials JH was arrested in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra on Thursday, June 17.
"Currently, we have arrested the suspect," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 18.
The arrest of the suspect started from information received by the Toba Satreskrim Resmob Team about the perpetrators being around the City of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra.
The team then coordinated with the Bukittinggi Police and immediately moved to the location.
After conducting reconnaissance for approximately 30 minutes, the team saw one man who matched the characteristics of the suspect JH. The team immediately arrested the suspect.
"Furthermore, the suspect was brought to the Toba Police for further investigation," said Iptu.
Previously, the victim was found dead at his residence in Lumban Lobu Village, Bonatua Lunasi District, Toba Regency on Monday, May 25.
When found, the victim was in a supine position and his head was bleeding thick. The police found 24 stab wounds on the victim's body.
After conducting an investigation, the police arrested two suspects, namely RT (23) and DN (16).
