Bandarlampung City COVID-19 Task Force Disbands Charity Concert That Presents Green Leaves
BANDARLAMPUNG - The Bandarlampung City COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) has disbanded a charity concert held by one of the cafes. The event does not have a crowd permit during the pandemic.
"We visited Famous Cafe because there were reports from the public that at this place they would hold a charity concert where they suspected they had invited the Green Leaf Band," said Head of the Bandarlampung City COVID-19 Task Force Secretariat, Tole Dailami, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 15.
Tole, who also serves as Acting Secretary of the City of Bandarlampung, explained that the activity was disbanded because, apart from that, they did not have a crowd permit. The location is also on the side of the road and they also invite artists so it will most likely cause a crowd.
So, he continued, his party asked the cafe manager not to continue their activities and educate them until now the COVID-19 pandemic has not ended.
"We ask them not to hold the concert and to close the venue because it will potentially cause a crowd, especially when they invite artists, plus currently COVID-19 cases are increasing in all regions of Indonesia, including Lampung," he said.
He also admitted that he really appreciated their intention to raise funds to help Palestine by presenting the Green Leaf Band. But don't let this good intention even sacrifice other people.
"Don't let the intention to do charity work but instead transmit COVID-19 to people who come to this place because we know the cases of people infected with the corona virus are now increasing," he said.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force for the City of Bandarlampung, Ahmad Nurizki, asked all parties who will hold activities, especially by gathering people, to report their agenda or ask for permission to the Task Force Team so that they can monitor it.
"According to the COVID-19 health protocol, it is mandatory for people who want to hold events to report their events to the Task Force Team, then they are also not allowed to cause crowds in their activities to minimize the transmission of COVID-19 in this city," he said.
