Intercepted By Crowds, Ertiga Continues To Drive Then Stones Are Thrown, The Perpetrator Is Arrested
KUPANG - The Kupang Police Team, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) arrested MRK (20) who damaged a car by throwing stones. The window of the victim's Ertiga car was broken.
The vandals were arrested this morning at a barbershop in Oesao Market. The fellow perpetrators were also taken to the Kupang Police Headquarters.
The Head of Public Relations of the NTT Police, Kombes Rishian Krisna, said the car vandalism occurred on Tuesday, June 15 at 03.00 WITA in Pondok Cucur, East Kupang.
At first the Suzuki Ertiga car driven by a man with the initials RNL (30) was driving from Atambua to Kupang.
“On arrival at Jalan Timur Raya, at Pondok Cucur, several youths came and arrested the victim's car but the victim's car did not stop. Because the victim's car did not stop, the perpetrator immediately took a stone and threw it so that the left side of the car window broke," Kombes Krisna said in a written statement from the Police Public Relations.
The victim reported this incident to the Kupang Police Headquarters. From the report, the members moved to arrest the perpetrator and his partner.
"Currently, the perpetrator has been detained at the Kupang Police for further investigation," said Kombes Krisna.
