Worth It, Father Who Raped Children In Banjarmasin Sued 20 Years In Prison And Chemical Castration
JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) from the Banjarmasin District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has demanded 20 years in prison and additional demands for chemical castration against the defendant in the case of raping his biological child.
"The case of rape against a biological child has reached the agenda for reading the demands and we as the Public Prosecutor have given a maximum sentence of 20 years and an additional charge of chemical castration," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Kejari, Denny Wicaksono in Banjarmasin, reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 15.
He said that the demands given to the defendant with the initials AS (46), a resident of North Banjarmasin District, were commensurate with his actions.
"The demands are comparable to the actions of the defendant who had the heart to rape his two biological children," said Kasi Pidum, who is familiar with the media crew.
Denny also said that the verdict on the defendant all depends on the judge, his party as the Public Prosecutor only conveys and reads out the demands.
According to him, when the judge gives a verdict of chemical castration against the perpetrators, this will be the first time that has been done in South Kalimantan.
To note, the defendant is suspected of molesting his biological child. The defendant carried out his lecherous act on Tuesday night, January 12, at around 22.00 WITA, while the victim was sleeping next to the suspect.
For his depraved act, the US suspect was charged with the case of sexual intercourse with a minor as referred to in Article 81 paragraph 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2014 with a penalty of 20 years in prison.
