Kimia Farma Diagnostika Cooperates with Itama Ranoraya to Provide Swab Test Kits in Large QuantitiesJAKARTA - PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika (KFD) and PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk are collaborating in the field of providing antigen swab test kits in large enough quantities to support public services.
The collaboration, which was signed in Jakarta, Monday, June 14, is aimed at supporting health care programs, including vaccination, PCR testing, Antigen Swab, and other health services.
Some of the activities that have been and will be carried out include the implementation of mutual cooperation vaccination, antigen swab of the Young BUMN Forum, and preparation of the Work From Bali health service program.
These activities require the professionalism of the officers as well as the reliability of medical devices and consumables used.
Plt. President Director of PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika, Agus Chandra, said that this collaboration was important to support the government's program in accelerating the recovery of the national economy.
"KFD must carry out assignments from shareholders in antigen swab activities. Cooperation with Itama Ranoraya is one of the efforts to guarantee these activities. We hope that IRRA will be committed and provide the best service for KFD and the public," Agus said in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday. June 15.
On the same occasion, President Director of PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk, Heru Firdausi Syarif said that his party is committed to assisting the government through KFD in overcoming the pandemic in Indonesia through the provision of reliable antigen rapid test equipment.
"We are ready to present equipment that has received a distribution permit from the Ministry of Health. We will guarantee the reliability of the Panbio test kit from Abbott according to the manufacturer's standards," said Heru.
PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika, a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma Apotek, now has 422 clinics and 73 clinical laboratories that provide integrated health services including health clinic services and clinical laboratories throughout Indonesia. These clinics also provide COVID-19 testing services with a rapid antigen test kit.
Meanwhile, PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk. is a company engaged in the distribution and trading of medical equipment, laboratory equipment, pharmaceuticals and medicine. One of its products is the Panbio COVID-19 Ag rapid test kit made by Abbott, a healthcare company from the United States.
