Kudus Regency Government Still Needs Additional Health Care
JAKARTA - The government of Kudus Regency, Central Java, requires additional health workers (nakes) to operate a centralized isolation center spread across nine sub-districts with a total capacity of 779 people.
"Health workers are urgently needed to monitor the health conditions of COVID-19 patients undergoing centralized isolation in each village. Village midwives can indeed be included, but cannot monitor for 24 hours," said Kudus Regent Hartopo in Kudus, quoted by Antara, Monday, June 14.
Meanwhile, the recruitment of new health workers, he said, was not yet possible because the budget for handling COVID-19 in Kudus was running low.
Regarding these obstacles, the Kudus Regency Government will coordinate with the Central Java Provincial Government that it requires additional health workers to be assigned 24 hours to monitor residents who are in isolation.
The Kudus Regency Government is also trying to refocus the budget in order to increase the budget for incentives for health workers who will be assigned to villages.
Isolation places have been prepared by the Kudus Regency Government, including Rusunawa Bakalan Krapyak with a capacity of 180 people.
Then in each village in Kudus Regency also began to prepare isolation places, starting from the village hall, the midwife's official house, the supporting health center to the pagoda ready to be used as a place to accommodate COVID-19 sufferers without symptoms.
The total capacity of the isolation places in the villages reaches 599 people, so that when they can be occupied without having to leave the city, such as the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory.
In addition, the Kudus Regency Government also still has the Sonyawarih Training Center, Graha Muria Colo, and Akbid Kudus which can be optimized as places of isolation. Akbid Kudus itself is used for COVID-19 sufferers with mild symptoms.
