Police Investigate Drug Dealer Again In 'Family Gathering' Case
JAKARTA - Police arrested SW (54), another suspected drug dealer during a drug party at a villa in the Puncak area, Cipanas-Cianjur, West Java, under the guise of a family gathering (Family Gathering).
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Guruh Arif Darmawan said SW is a suspect in the drug dealer of methamphetamine type operating in Muara Bahari Village like suspect HS, who was arrested earlier during the 'Family Gathering' raid on Thursday, June 3.
"The drugs used in the 'Family Gathering' case that we disclosed some time ago were not only obtained from brother HS from the Penitentiary, but also from sister SW. So sister SW is one of the drug dealers in the Kampung Bahari area, North Jakarta," said Kombes Guruh, quoted by Antara, Monday, June 14.
Guruh said officers obtained evidence in the form of methamphetamine packaged in plastic clips weighing 4.31 grams from the hands of suspect SW.
After arresting SW, the police also arrested his partner with the initials BP (31) in SW's rented house for allegedly serving in drug transactions belonging to SW in Muara Bahari Village.
To be sure, North Jakarta Metro Police Deputy AKBP Nasriadi directly asked the two lovebirds about their role in drug transactions in the Muara Bahari Village area.
To the Wakapolres, SW admitted that he only sold drugs in the last three months because he has five children and does not have a husband. Meanwhile, his partner BP (31) does not have a job.
Nasriadi also asked about the profits made from selling drugs in retail.
"How much profit?" asked Nasriadi.
"Diecer, sir, only Rp. 100 thousand. Rp. 3 million a month, sir," replied SW.
"Buyers from where?" asked Nasriadi again.
"Yes, from there, sir? There is nothing else (from outside Muara Bahari Village)," SW replied.
The police chief said that the police also arrested a number of other suspected drug dealers with the initials RZ, SR in Muara Bahari Village.
In addition, the owners of stalls along the railroad tracks, RS and AR, who are husband and wife, were also arrested for allegedly participating in drug trafficking in their stalls.
"So we have secured a total of six people," said Guruh.
