Almost 500 Participants Participate in the KSP Cup, 90 MSMEs Decorate the HUT RI Series

BOGOR - Nearly 500 participants from various regions attended the National Level Singing Bird Competition and Exhibition of the Presidential Chief of Staff Cup in Raffles Hills, Cibubur, Bogor, Sunday, August 16.

The Chairman of the People's Aspiration or DAR, Hadi Filino Gunarto, said the race was the culmination of a series of events to commemorate the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia which was held in the Raffles Hills area.

"Alhamdulillah, this activity has received an extraordinary enthusiasm. Almost 500 participants from various regions attended the competition and exhibition of singing birds," said Hadi.

The series of activities also involved around 90 UMKM tenants. Products offered include food, fashion, household needs and creative business products.

In addition to economic activities and competitions, the committee held free health services for around 200 people with the support of the Depok City Health Service.

The examination includes a medical check-up, complete blood count, EKG and Pap Smear.

Blood donation was also held with 150 participants in cooperation with the Depok City PMI. The committee also distributed basic necessities to people in need.

Hadi said the series of activities was designed not only to celebrate the Indonesian Independence Day, but also to provide space for social and economic activities of the community.

"Independence must be filled with mutual cooperation, social concern, empowerment of MSMEs, health services, and activities that bring people together in a fraternal atmosphere," he said.

The Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Dudung Abdurachman who opened the competition said that bird community activities can also be a space to build creativity, community economy and concern for the environment.

Dudung asked participants to maintain sportsmanship during the competition and encourage the bird-loving community to take care of habitats and the environment.
