It's Just What People Do, The Free Parking Sign At Indomaret Bengkulu Is Intentionally Covered With Paper
BENGKULU - Parking at minimarkets in Bengkulu area is free for consumers. But there are irresponsible people trying to trick consumers.
This was discovered when Bengkulu Police personnel checked the Indomaret outlet. Found writing free parking but closed paper. Checks at minimarket outlets led by the Head of the Bengkulu Police Ops Section, the Head of Criminal Investigation and the Head of Intelligence and Security at the Bengkulu Police
"Who covered up?" said the police in the video, Monday, June 14.
"I don't know," someone answered.
After that the police opened the paper. There is a sign that says 'free parking for Indomaret consumers when shopping. Use an additional key on your vehicle'.
The Bengkulu City Government (Pemkot) through the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) has made strict rules. They asked all parking attendants at Alfamart and Indomaret outlets to stop parking collections.
Visitors to Alfamart and Indomaret outlets who come by motorbike or car can now breathe a sigh of relief. They will no longer meet a parking attendant whose figure is often like a ghost. When it comes it's invisible, when it comes home it just appears.
Bapenda said all Alfamart and Indomaret outlets in the city of Bengkulu have become taxpayers for local parking. This was confirmed by the Head of Bapenda Hadianto. This decision was taken based on Law No. 28 of 2009 on regional taxes and regional levies and Regional Regulation No. 12 of 2011 on parking taxes.
"Indomaret and Alfamart have become taxpayers for regional parking. So, parking attendants there are illegal and have no right to collect parking fees anymore. So that the public knows about this, we (Bapenda) today began to socialize to all Indomaret and Alfamart outlets that there is no there may be a parking retribution collection," Hadianto said as quoted from the Bengkulu City Government's official website.
