No Need to Be Busy, Here's How to Enjoy Moments while Traveling
Traveling is a moment that is worth missing without documentation. However, being too busy arranging the camera sometimes makes us less enjoy the trip.
A 360-degree camera can be one of the options to overcome this. With this camera, users can record the atmosphere around without having to constantly think about the shooting angle. The desired angle can be selected again during the editing process.
This is what Insta360 X6 is trying to offer. This 360-degree camera was officially introduced in Indonesia through the launch at the first Insta360 Flagship Store at KOKAS, Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta. The Flagship Store can be visited on August 13-19, 2026.
The presence of the X6 is aimed at travelers, content creators, and users who like to capture various daily activities.
According to Adi, Product Specialist Insta360, 360-degree cameras make users more free to enjoy the journey without having to be busy looking for angles.
"For traveling, because this is a 360 camera, so we don't have to think about the angle when we're on the go. We just record, then choose the angle that fits the editing. Because when we record, everything around us is recorded. So we won't miss the moment," said Adi at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta, Friday, August 14, 2026.
In this way, users can immediately record when they find interesting sights or moments without having to first point the camera.
"If, for example, conventional cameras, we have to direct the camera to the object of interest, so it can interfere with our journey. If with Insta360, no, we just record, then we can arrange the framing when editing," Adi added.
In addition to accompanying travel, cameras are also often used for various outdoor activities. Insta360 X6 has the ability to be used in water up to a depth of 20 meters.
"Compared to the previous series, the Insta360 X6 now supports 8K resolution up to 50 FPS, while the previous version is still 8K at 30 FPS. Its underwater capabilities have also increased, from the previous 15 meters to 20 meters," said Adi.
The camera also brings improvements to recording in low light conditions.
"X6 is also equipped with three chips for Pure Video which is an improvement from the previous generation. This feature makes the image quality, especially in low light and underwater conditions, better. We also work with Dolby Studio so that the resulting image is clearer," said Adi.
Adi added that a larger sensor size also helps the camera capture light better.
"For night shooting, the quality is also better because there is a Pure Video 2.0 feature which is an improvement from the previous series. In addition, the sensor size is now 1 inch, compared to the previous 0.78 inch. With a larger sensor, the incoming light and image quality are also better," concluded Adi.
For travelers, battery life is one of the important things, especially when traveling all day.
"For the battery, if the old one is at 8K resolution, it is 90 minutes, if it is now at 8K resolution, it is up to 140 minutes," said Adi.
For users who are fond of diving, the X6 can also be used up to a depth of 20 meters.
"For those who like diving, X6 can be used up to 20 meters. If we use it at 8K it can be up to 140 minutes. If we are at 4K it may be around 200 minutes. So yes, for underwater there is no limit, just until the battery runs out," Adi added.
For content creators, 360-degree cameras provide the freedom to determine the final result after the shooting process. One recording can be processed into various viewpoints as needed.

"Insta360 X6 comes with a number of improvements that make the experience of creating 360° content more practical and flexible. The ability to record up to 8K, support for AI technology, and more optimal stabilization provide more space for users to explore various perspectives in one camera. We hope that the presence of Insta360 X6 in Indonesia can be an option for content creators, travelers, and users who want to capture moments in a more creative way," said I Putu Maharta Raditya.
In addition, the X6 is equipped with stabilization features to help keep videos stable when used while moving. This camera can also be used in water up to 20 meters.
AI support also helps users process the results of the recording. This makes the camera can be used for various needs, ranging from travel documentation to creating content for social media.
Insta360 X6 is available in two package options in Indonesia. The X6 Standard Bundle is priced at Rp. 13 million, while the X6 Essential Bundle is priced at Rp. 15 million.
The Essential Bundle package comes with a number of additional accessories, such as Extra Xtreme Battery, Invisible Selfie Stick 114 cm, Lens Cap, Fast Charge Case, and Insta360 Extended Warranty.
With a 360-degree camera, capturing a journey can now be done more casually. Users don't have to stop every time they find an interesting view just to find the right angle.
Just record and enjoy the journey. After that, the saved moments can be selected again to determine the best angle to be shared.
