IPC TPK Records 8 Percent Growth in Container Flows until July 2026

JAKARTA - PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) recorded positive operational performance with a 8 percent growth in container traffic cumulatively (year-on-year/yoy) from January to July 2026.

This growth is supported by the optimization of services and the improvement of operational efficiency in all terminal work areas. Until the first seven months of 2026, the volume of IPC TPK container traffic reached 2,171,202 TEUs, an increase compared to the same period last year of 2,009,185 TEUs.

"This positive achievement is the result of the continued commitment of IPC TPK in maintaining operational excellence and strengthening synergy with service users," said Senior Manager of the IPC TPK Corporate Secretariat Daniel Setiawan in a written statement, Friday, August 14.

The positive performance was also reflected in the performance of July 2026. In that month, container traffic grew 13.7 percent year-on-year to 353,465 TEUs, compared to 310,846 TEUs in July 2025.

This growth was supported by improved performance at a number of terminals. Teluk Bayur Terminal recorded the highest growth of 30.8 percent, followed by Panjang Terminal of 29.1 percent, Tanjung Priok Terminal 15.2 percent, and Jambi Terminal which grew 6 percent.

IPC TPK continues to encourage operational integration and efficiency of the port system at all terminals to improve the quality and speed of services to service users.

Accelerating loading and unloading services is one of the company's main focuses to maintain the smooth running of the national supply chain while strengthening Indonesia's logistics competitiveness.

IPC TPK currently operates in six work areas, namely the Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta, the Pontianak Port in West Kalimantan, the Panjang Port in Lampung, the Palembang Port in South Sumatra, the Teluk Bayur Port in West Sumatra, and the Jambi Port in Jambi.
