663 Days Leading, Prabowo Claims Government Decided 121 Transformative Policies

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated that the government has set and implemented 121 transformative policies during his 663 days or about 21 months of his administration.

Prabowo made the statement at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and Joint Meeting of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) and the Indonesian DPD, Friday, August 14.

According to Prabowo, these various policies are aimed at starting to address a number of national issues that have been considered complex and difficult to solve for decades.

"In less than two years, we have proven that with the courage to make decisions, hard work is based on a sincere heart, clear will, orientation on the people and with the elements of the nation, problems that have been considered very complicated or too complicated for decades can be started to be solved," he said.

He emphasized that the government did not claim that all of these issues had been completed. However, the government has started concrete steps to solve them.

"I'm not saying it's over, I'm saying we're starting to finish," he said.

On this occasion, Prabowo explained a number of government achievements during his 21 months of leadership.

He said that as many as 121 transformative policies had been decided and implemented to address various problems faced by Indonesia.

Some of the issues that are the target of the policy, said Prabowo, have even been going on for decades without a thorough settlement.

"In 21 months, precisely 663 days until today, the government that I lead has decided and implemented 121 transformative policies to solve the problems of the country. Some of these problems have been decades that we have not been able to solve," he said.

Prabowo assessed that the number of policies that have been taken shows the speed of the government in making decisions and implementing the national transformation agenda.

"This means we can say that we decide on one transformative policy every five days, so hard my ministers and my assistants have worked," he said.
