Heni Sagara Wants the Black Campaign Case to be Investigated After a 2-Year Sentence

JAKARTA - The verdict in the defamation and black campaign case that harms the business world owned by Heni Sagara has officially sentenced the defendants, Fery and Restu, to 2 years in prison.

Responding to the verdict, Heni Sagara expressed his sincerity and welcomed the decision of the panel of judges who ordered the development of the case to investigate other parties suspected of being the mastermind and funders.

In his statement after the trial, Heni Sagara expressed his relief that this legal process did not stop at the field perpetrators.

He assessed that Fery and Restu were basically good young people and were victims of those who deliberately brainwashed for certain interests.

"If I am for Fery and Restu, from the deepest part of my heart, they are good children, yes... Actually, the bad ones are those who tell them and brainwash their brains. The point is, if I am for Fery and Restu, I am sincere about the 2-year sentence, I am sincere, I am sincere," said Heni Sagara at the Bandung District Court, Thursday (13/8/2026).

Furthermore, Heni Sagara emphasized his happiness because this case was developed and followed up further by law enforcement, following the revelation of the trial facts regarding the flow of suspicious funds to the defendants.

"And I am also happy today, happy, because yes, this is developed, followed up, continued. This case does not stop here. Now everything is directed at the mastermind, right, at those who ordered it and paid for it," he added.

Regarding the term 'Jumat Berkah' which emerged in the trial in connection with the flow of funds of Rp. 20 million to the defendant, Heni Sagara gave a satirical response but firmly that social assistance should be channeled to the right target to the people who really need it.

"Yes, if you want to give Friday Blessing... eh, sorry sorry sorry. If you want to give Friday Blessing, one, to orphanages, social homes, then ee to the mosque, to the nursing home, right? That's just the explanation of Friday Blessing, right. And it makes sense. There are still many social institutions here, social homes that need Friday Blessing, yes. Not just people who make ee negative posts, black campaigns, right, that you have to give Friday Blessing, that's not... yes, it makes sense. It's not connected. Unless the term Friday Blessing is already used, maybe he used it, haha. That... that's a different story," said Heni Sagara.

Meanwhile, Heni Sagara's legal representative, Yunus, explained that the panel of judges in its consideration saw transfers from other parties that were not explained logically, so that the development of the case was absolutely necessary to prevent the prevalence of criminal acts in the field of ITE.

The family, through Heni Sagara's husband, Iwa Wahyudin, also advised that this verdict should be a valuable lesson for social media activists to always uphold digital ethics and not be easily steered into taking actions that legally harm others.
