DPD RI Hosts Annual Meeting Tomorrow, Ensure There Are No "Dancing" Songs

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian DPD Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin ensures that his party is ready to hold the annual MPR RI session with the DPR RI which will be held tomorrow at the parliament complex. He said, preparations until this afternoon have reached 90 percent.

"Everything is in accordance with the planning, yes, it has been tried, the first, second, yesterday it was dirty, and it just finished

"Clean trial, in the series of annual sessions and joint sessions. So the preparation is already 90 percent more or less, it has been said to be completed because it also involves all related stakeholders, from the General Secretariat, the Palace, the Paspampres. So all sudahoke, ready," said the Sultan at the DPR/MPR/DPD building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, August 13.

This year, the DPD RI will host the MPR annual session. This event will be attended directly by President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the Minister of the White and Red Cabinet, as well as the previous presidents and vice presidents.

Regarding the series of events, the Sultan asked the public to witness the trial in person which will be broadcast by television. Of course, he said, the theme of this year's trial is in synergy with the palace.

"Wait tomorrow. Wait tomorrow. It's tomorrow. Of course, the DPD RI is the host, so the tagline is also connected with

"The national tagline, so we carry the theme that if the national is a sovereign state. A sovereign state can only happen if the region is strong. So, a strong region, Indonesia is sovereign," he said.

The Sultan ensured that all members of Parliament, both the DPR and the DPD, would maintain their attitude during the annual session. As is known, last year the attitude of DPR members was highlighted by the public because they danced in the middle of the issue of increasing council salaries.

"Yes, it's the same. We are one group. The MPR consists of the DPR and DPD. As members of parliament, as representatives of the people, we have to be able to work together. "

"The community, it is right that we maintain that ethics and attitude. But outside, personally, we must maintain it, in this joint trial we have also limited that there will be no more things like songs that will provoke the atmosphere. So we hope that the annual trial and the joint trial will really run with diligence, run with order, safely and smoothly. Because this is part of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. So, even though it is noisy

"It was a shock but it was a service," he explained.

Sultan said that there would be no playing of songs outside the national anthem to anticipate the incident at the 2025 annual session. "So according to what has been prepared by the committee, the songs that will be displayed are also songs that are nationalism, struggle, so as to avoid movements that will later provoke in quotation marks as if what it is nuanced like what friends have just said. It is also part of the anticipation so that the public does not see it as excessive," he said.
