Jakarta DPRD Member Bebizie Summoned by the KPK in Connection with Rita Widyasari Gratification Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Bebizie Sri Mulyati as a witness. He was examined in the case of alleged gratification per metric ton of coal that ensnared the former Regent of Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar) Rita Widyasari.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said Bebizie underwent an examination with two other witnesses today, August 13.

"The KPK has scheduled the examination of witnesses in the alleged TPK related to gratification per metric ton of coal in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency (Kukar) for the suspect RW," Budi said in his statement, Thursday, August 13.

Apart from Bebizie, investigators also examined Noval Elfarveisa as a lawyer. Also questioned was Agus Mujianto as the Financial and General Administration Staff of PT Alam Jaya Pratama.

"The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK building," said Budi.

Budi has not detailed the material that investigators have investigated from the examination of the three witnesses. But, they are suspected of knowing the corruption event that is being handled.

As previously reported, the KPK continues to investigate corruption allegations related to coal exports that ensnared Rita Widyasari as the former Regent of Kutai Kartanegara. In fact, non-tax state revenues (PNBP) continue to be scrutinized.

It is suspected that there was a receipt of metric tons of money made by Rita in each coal mine exploration process. This investigation was carried out by the KPK as a gateway to investigate alleged money laundering (TPPU).

The KPK then named three corporate suspects in this case. These companies are PT Sinar Kumala Naga, PT Alamjaya Barapratama, and PT Bara Kumala Sakti which are coal companies.

The determination of the corporate suspect was based on an investigation order (sprindik) issued in February. The three companies are suspected of being tools for Rita Widyasari to receive corruption results.
