iPhone 20 Pro leaks: Bigger screen, four-sided curved design

JAKARTA - Apple is rumored to be preparing major changes to the design of the iPhone 20 Pro. The 20th anniversary edition of the iPhone smartphone is said to have a larger screen with an aspect ratio that is still maintained as in previous generations.

The latest rumors say the iPhone 20 Pro will carry a quad-curved design without bezels. The effect of a borderless screen is said to be produced through a combination of flat screen panels and cover glass layers using optical refraction techniques.

However, the iPhone 20 Pro is still a long way from launch. Information on its design and screen size currently comes from rumors and leaks.

The latest leak comes from Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station. He said two devices with codes V73 and V74 will use a larger screen, but still maintain the aspect ratio like the previous iPhone Pro and Pro Max models.

The leak points to the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max as the smartphones that will get screen size changes. Previously, Digital Chat Station also claimed that Apple was making prototypes with screen sizes of 6.4 inches and 7 inches.

For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is 6.9 inches. If the leak is true, the screen size of the iPhone 20 Pro will increase by about 0.1 inches, while the iPhone 20 Pro Max will increase by 0.1 inches compared to the previous model.

The most interesting change is not just the screen size. Apple is said to be exploring a "quad-curved bezel-less" design for the 20 Pro iPhone.

The concept uses a flat OLED screen panel covered with a glass cover with a certain shape. The glass is claimed to use optical refraction effects to create a visual illusion as if the screen had no boundaries.

With this approach, Apple can maintain a 2D screen panel while producing a curved-looking display on the edges.

The leak regarding the design of the quad-curved iPhone 20 is actually not new information. Digital Chat Station previously mentioned the screen size of 6.4 inches and 7 inches on August 4, 2026. At the same time, the leaker also claimed that Apple would maintain the aspect ratio and use a quad-curved design without bezels. The screen size has even appeared in a leak on July 21, 2026.

Meanwhile, information regarding the OLED panel with the "four-micro-curve" concept has been circulating since April 2026. This means that the latest leak strengthens rumors that have previously circulated rather than revealing a completely new concept.

Although Digital Chat Station has a track record that is considered quite good compared to other Weibo leakers, the information still needs to be treated as a rumor.

Apple has not confirmed the existence or design of the iPhone 20 Pro. In fact, the device is still a few years before its possible launch. Therefore, Apple still has plenty of time to change the screen size, glass design, aspect ratio, and display technology to be used.

If this rumor is finally proven, the iPhone 20 Pro can be one of the biggest design changes in iPhone history, especially through a larger screen and a bezel-less visual effect.

For now, the concept is still in the realm of leaks and cannot be considered as Apple's official specifications.
