44 Kg Cannabis Smuggling Mode Wrapped In Used Clothes Revealed In Mengwi Bali

DENPASAR - Bali Province National Narcotics Agency (BNN) officers foiled the smuggling of 44 kilograms of marijuana to Bali. The disclosure of marijuana smuggling was carried out at the Mengwi Terminal, Badung Regency, Bali.

The marijuana was smuggled by an expedition driver named Manihar Hasibuan (30). Marijuana is wrapped in used clothes.

This arrest was made as a result of an investigation into a narcotics suspect with the initials WG. He was secured with his wife in Banyuwangi, East Java.

"After we arrested the suspect (WG), the suspect admitted that he had been sent to Bali. Officers found 17 sacks containing used clothes and plastic filled with marijuana, and the items came from Medan, North Sumatra. According to the perpetrator's confession, he left on Tuesday, June 8th. He transacted in Jakarta and headed straight to Bali. The perpetrator admitted that he did not know that the sack of used clothes contained marijuana.
