Mazda Releases Genuine Oil 0W-20 and 5W-30, What are the Advantages?

JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), Mazda Brand Holder Agent (APM) in Indonesia, officially launched Mazda Genuine Oil Full Synthetic 0W-20 SP and Mazda Genuine Oil Full Synthetic 5W-30 SP.

The latest generation of Mazda Genuine Oil now carries the API SP specification, an improvement from the previous API SN standard, to provide optimal engine protection while supporting the performance of modern Mazda vehicles.

Besides the increase in specifications from SNI to SP, both products also underwent packaging changes with a design that emphasizes the identity as genuine products from Mazda.

The launch of Mazda Genuine Oil is part of Mazda's efforts to continue to provide a premium ownership experience through an increasingly comprehensive after-sales service ecosystem.

Developed specifically for the characteristics of Mazda engines, this official lubricant is designed to be able to maintain the performance, efficiency, and reliability of the engine according to Mazda's global standards throughout the vehicle's ownership.

Customer Service Director of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, Igor Panjaitan, said that Mazda Genuine Oil is part of Mazda's commitment to maintaining the quality of customer driving experience, even after the vehicle has been used for years.

"For Mazda, the customer experience does not stop when the vehicle is handed over. We want to ensure that every Mazda vehicle continues to provide the best performance throughout the ownership period. Therefore, Mazda Genuine Oil is not just an official lubricant, but a lubricant developed together with Mazda to work in harmony with the character of our engine. Thus, customers get protection that is designed according to Mazda standards, not just meeting industry standards," he said, in an official statement received, Monday, August 10.

The latest Mazda Genuine Oil is available in two viscosity options, namely 0W-20 SP and 5W-30 SP, each available in one liter packaging. The 0W-20 SP variant is designed to produce better fuel efficiency, light engine response, and optimal protection from the first time the engine is turned on.

Meanwhile, 5W-30 SP offers a balance between engine protection, performance, and durability so it is suitable for various driving conditions, both daily use and long-distance travel.

In addition to providing optimal engine protection, Mazda Genuine Oil Full Synthetic SP also helps maintain engine cleanliness, increases lubrication stability at various operating temperatures, reduces friction between components, and supports emission control system efficiency. This full synthetic formulation also provides corrosion protection, better compatibility with engine seal materials, and more consistent lubricant durability for long-term use.

As part of the improvement of the Mazda Genuine Oil product line, on the same occasion Mazda Indonesia also introduced a new packaging for MV Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) for non-SKYACTIV Mazda vehicles and Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) FZ for SKYACTIV Mazda vehicles. Although there is no change in product specifications, this packaging update is carried out to strengthen the visual identity of Mazda Genuine Oil so that it has a character that is consistent with Mazda's other official lubricant product lines.

Starting August 2026, Mazda Genuine Oil Full Synthetic 0W-20 SP and 5W-30 SP will be available at all Mazda official dealer networks in Indonesia for customer vehicle maintenance needs.
