Agencies Announce Mingyu, Seungkwan, Dino SEVENTEEN's Military Service Schedules

PLEDIS Entertainment officially revealed the date of military service for three SEVENTEEN members: Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino. Previously, one of the members - Seungkwan - was rumored to have applied for registration to one of the divisions.

"Seungkwan and Dino are scheduled to depart as military band members on October 26. They will be active in all activities (SEVENTEEN) before military service," PLEDIS Entertainment said on Monday, August 10.

The departure ceremony will be attended by the core family and other members therefore, the agency hopes fans do not visit the two on the day of departure.

In addition, Mingyu was also announced to leave on September 10, which is a month since the announcement was shared. Similar to Seungkwan and Dino, Mingyu did not hold an official event for fans so the agency asked fans not to visit the place of duty.

"Mingyu will begin his military service on September 10. He will also participate in all group activities before his duty," the agency said.

"When Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino started their duties, they couldn't participate in SEVENTEEN activities. However, they will continue to communicate with CARAT (SEVENTEEN fan name) through various content prepared," the agency explained.

The three are the latest SEVENTEEN members to be discharged for military service. Previously, the agency also revealed that DK and Vernon would leave for duty starting this month and September.

This year, SEVENTEEN continued the NEW WORLD TOUR held since 2025 and met fans last June to announce the group's hiatus. Then, they focused on sub-unit activities. Vernon and The 8 formed a new sub-unit called V8 by releasing the first mini album.
