Bareskrim Uncovers Narcotics Trafficking at HH Club Batam

JAKARTA - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police has dismantled a case of alleged drug trafficking at the HH Club Planet 3.0 Pub & KTV nightclub in Batam, Riau Islands.

Director of Narcotics Crime of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso, said that the disclosure took place on Monday morning at around 01.00 WIB by a joint team of Subdit IV and Satgas NIC Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police.

"The joint team officers secured 32 people in the operation who were status as suspects and witnesses," said Eko Hadi as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 10.

In addition, the joint team also seized a number of evidence of drugs.

Regarding the case and the chronology of disclosure, Eko said that the details of the information would be conveyed after the examination was completed.

"Further information will be provided after the examination of the suspects and witnesses is completed," he said.

Throughout 2026, the Narcotics Division of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has dismantled drug trafficking cases in several nightclubs (THM).

In March 2026, the Narcotics Division of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police revealed a case of alleged drug trafficking in the THM named White Rabbit, South Jakarta.

Then, in April 2026, the team also dismantled the illicit circulation of ecstasy-type drugs at THM N CO Living by NIX in Badung Regency, Bali.

Next, in May 2026, the team raided the THM New Zone in Medan, North Sumatra, for alleged drug trafficking.

Most recently, on August 7, 2026, the team again dismantled the alleged drug trafficking at THM Five Stars, Denpasar, Bali.
